‘Lovejoy has proven himself a master storyteller.’ - Clive Cussler
A husband and wife are found butchered and mutilated, hanging in a barn in an abandoned farm near Albuquerque.
Their bodies are the only evidence of the ruthless brutality they were subjected to with a scalpel.
It is a nauseating and haunting scene which quickly gains the attention of the press.
The case is referred to the as the ‘Razor murders.’
A wedding band is the only evidence that turns up which can be used to help identify the bodies in the absence of teeth and fingerprints.
A New Mexican sheriff suspects that ex-military personnel could be involved.
The methods used in the murders reveals expert training; someone trained in the art of torture.
Soon after he starts his enquiries, the New Mexican sheriff is brutally murdered along with his wife and two children.
There are now six murders with no connection, no motives and no mercy.
This is organised crime and the killers are cold, clean and calculating.
FBI agent Steven Wayne believes they may be Vietnam veterans.
Could it be a group of former U.S. paratroopers who have become warped and disillusioned?
Wayne’s life is in danger, as is that of his girlfriend Cece.
Whilst several police and government officials are being threatened, everyone is out to save themselves.
Now Wayne must decide which few allies he can trust as he works to seek out the killers who don’t want to be found.
Unless they find him or Cece first…

It is an action adventure so sure it is going to be a bit far fetched at times, or it could be boring and far more factual. With that said it did have more than a few good realistic details in the mix to make it not too far fetched. Our government being full of crooked corrupt people is also more realistic than I once thought!Product details

Rip Cord eBook William H Lovejoy Reviews
2 stories in one. One in the past, one in the present. Good read.
NOT ONE OF HIS BETTER WRITES
Good
Well done. It kept my interest throughout
Well written, with interesting characters, but I prefer the author's
military action novels, at which he excels.
Diverse cast of characters. The "bad guys" are really bad.
A very good book, keeps you interested all the way through. Looking forward to reading more of his books. Hope the rest of his books are as good
